A 30 minute walk from our room in Ao Luk is this little park. Despite having to begrudgingly pay 400baht to get into the park when the local Thais, get in there for free to wash their hair and littler the place with their sample sachets & fags grrrrr! It's a cast limestone landscape with the limestone cliffs surrounding this beautiful spot. I can imagine in the wet season it's really quite a spectacle but in the middle of the dry season, as we where, it's a bit limited. The cool pools offered a much needed relief from the midday heat and the shady pools have a fairytale feel about them.
Don't bother with the nearby 5star hotel - we went there for food one evening and got so fed up with the crappy service we left without having a bite despite the ten minute walk to anywhere else! There is another cheaper hotel nearby which is owned by the same company ignore their recommendation's for good restaurants Instead try the street front cafes.
